Since 1951 the folks at Lang Sun Country Groves have been in the citrus business.
They offer a bit of a twist on the many grove operations around Orlando. They offer the visitor the Taste of Florida cafe.
The Taste of Florida cafe allows the visitor to partake in some delicious fresh-cooked food after or before wandering the aisles of their citrus and gift shop.
The shop offers a range of citrus related items you won’t see in every store, including some very nice citrus wines made locally.
Yet it’s the food that will bring you back to this little cafe that is some distance from downtown Orlando.
Of particular note are the wraps, which are very good. You don’t want to miss their wonderful grapefruit pie, either.
Taste of Florida cafe is not pretentious. Yet if you are wandering westward down 17/92 from Highway 27 and Haines City, and you have a hankering for some real food, you could do a lot worse than stopping by here.

5900 Highway 19-92 West
Haines City Florida 33844-9510
The Taste of Florida cafe is about 40 miles (65 km or so) West and South from downtown Orlando and drive time should be well under an hour.
This is a good spot to visit if you are planning on visiting the Auburndale flea market on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
